Harju County Court made an interim judgement today, finding that the claim filed by Tallinn University of Technology against Tallinna Vesi for compensation for damages resulting from the breach of obligations under the water service contract is generally justified, it isn´t expired, and the proceedings must continue regarding the amount of the claim.

The Supervisory Council of AS Tallinna Vesi approved the audited annual report report for 2024 and will submit it to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders for approval. The financial results have not changed from the unaudited results published on 7 February 2025: Tallinna Vesi's fourth-quarter sales were €17.67 million.

AS Tallinna Vesi's sales amounted to €16 million in the first quarter of 2025, growing due to an increase in consumption volumes and the impact of a price change in the second half of the year.

On 21 April, Tallinn District Court passed a judgement, satisfying partially the appeal submitted by Jazz Pesulad OÜ, Olerex AS, Hotell Euroopa OÜ, EfTEN SPV2 OÜ, EfTEN Sky OÜ, Kadrioru Ärikeskus OÜ, Solaris Keskus AS, Hotell Olümpia AS and Central Hotell OÜ against AS Tallinna Vesi. The decision of the District Court annulled the previous decision of the county court and sent the case to the same county court for a new review.

The Competition Authority approved the new price for water services in the Tallinn and Saue area at €2.10 per cubic metre for private customers and €3.33 per cubic metre for business customers, excluding VAT. The price change is due to the need to harmonize the price of water for private and business customers, as required by law, and the need for investment to improve the sustainability of the water infrastructure.

 The Management Board of AKTSIASELTS TALLINNA VESI (registry code 10257326, address Ädala 10, 10614 Tallinn) (hereinafter also the „Company") introduces to the shareholders the draft resolutions for adoption without convening an extraordinary general meeting in accordance with article 6.2.10 of the Articles of Association of the Company and § 299¹ of the Commercial Code. 

Harju County Court has accepted AS Tallinna Sadam claim against AS Tallinna Vesi for the compensation of an allegedly overpaid price for the consumed water services, which Tallinna Vesi does not consider justified. 

On 13 December, the Supervisory Council of Tallinna Vesi approved the company's investment plan for 2025, with planned investments amounting to €61 million.  

The Competition Authority has accepted Tallinna Vesi's application to change the prices for water supply service, price change is subject to Competition authority approval and expected to take affect during 2025. The change follows from the obligation imposed by law to harmonise the price of the service for private and business customers and reflects the need for continued investment to ensure clean drinking water and the environment and continuity of services.

AS Tallinna Vesi’s sales for the third quarter of this year amounted to €16.22 million, which is 3.9% more than in the same period last year. Net profit was €3.93 million, decreasing by €0.12 million mainly due to the increase in interest costs.

Due to the increase in the price of electricity, Tallinna Vesi has applied to the Competition Authority to revise the prices for water services. The price change will take effect on 1 November and will amount to an average of one cent per cubic metre.
