Oslo, Norway, 20 June 2024 – IDEX Biometrics has received a scaled repeat IDEX Access order from AuthenTrend, a global digital authentication leader. This order comes only a few months after the initial order, indicating customer demand for secure authentication, and marks the scaling of AuthenTrend’s biometric access cards.

Oslo, Norway, and Taipei, Taiwan 17 June 2024 – IDEX Biometrics has received a production order from Beautiful Card Corporation (BCC), in support of bank launches in Asia. BCC has obtained the Letter of Approval (LoA) from Mastercard for its biometric payment card built on the IDEX Pay platform, allowing the issuance and deployment of biometric cards globally.

IDEX Biometrics ASA held its annual general meeting on 16 May 2024. 95.3 million shares or 34% of the capital was represented at the meeting.

Aligned with the restructuring of IDEX’s organization to consolidate development and business operations to be located primarily in the UK and the EU/EEA, and to reduce costs, the nomination committee proposes that IDEX also reduces the size of the board of directors to a total of three.

The board of directors of IDEX Biometrics ASA resolved on 15 May 2024 to issue 40,900 incentive subscription rights to a new individual contractor in the IDEX Biometrics group. The grant was made under the company's 2023 incentive subscription rights plan as resolved at the annual general meeting on 23 May 2023. The exercise price of the subscription rights is NOK 1.80 per share and the SRs vest by 25% per year over four years. The SRs expire on 23 May 2028. Following the grant there are 17,514,625 subscription rights outstanding in IDEX Biometrics.
