Bystronic appoints Alberto Martinez as a member of the Executive Committee Bystronic is strengthening the Executive Committee in the fields of software and automation solutions as well as digitization. Zurich, January 12, 2022 - Software and automation solutions are a key pillar of Bystronic's growth strategy. In his role as Chief Digital Officer, Alberto Martinez has successfully led the Competence Center Software Services since September 2018. He has been instrumental in driving forward the development of the product portfolio for smart factory solutions, and the Smart Factory Software Suite is on the verge of market launch following a successful test phase with selected customers. Within the context of the transformation of the Group, Alberto Martinez also assumed interim responsibility for the global IT organization. In future, he will focus even more closely on smart factory solutions, and Beat Neukom, CFO of Bystronic, is taking over the IT organization. Alberto Martinez' appointment to the Executive Committee and Beat Neukom's takeover of the IT organization will go into effect retroactively as of January 1, 2022.
