Zurich, 17 August 2022 – Ina Invest, the Swiss real estate company listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange, has demonstrated impressive positive financial development in the first half of 2022. With an EBIT of CHF 12.0 million, the half-year results are significantly above those for the same period last year (HY 2021: 3.1 million) and have also exceeded the company's own targets. The significant increase in net profit – despite the rise in building costs – of CHF 17.0 million (HY 2021: 2.9 million) stems mainly from successes with respect to rental income and positive changes in value due to operating performance, as well as a relevant one-off effect in the financial result. The process of finishing the new and now fully let “Elefant” buildings and selling the occupier-owned “Tender” flats in Lokstadt, Winterthur and “BaseLink” in Allschwil is going exactly to plan. Finally, a building permit application has been submitted for the “Schaffhauserstrasse” project, which will involve building flexible urban flats for small households in an ideal location between Oerlikon and the University of Zurich’s Irchel campus.
