Thomas Schuchardt leaves Gigaset AG
Supervisory Board and CFO terminate appointment by mutual consent 


Thomas Schuchardt, CFO of Gigaset AG, is leaving the company by mutual agreement effective May 31st, 2023. Dr. Magnus Ekerot, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Gigaset AG since January 1st, 2023, will be responsible for taking over operational matters on an interim basis with immediate effect.

Helvin Wong, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Gigaset AG, expresses his thanks: "Mr. Schuchardt has been instrumental in keeping the company on track, especially during the last three exceptional pandemic years. His achievements in the areas of liquidity, cost and working capital management as well as in the financing of the Gigaset Group deserve special recognition. We continue to wish him all the best in his future professional and personal endeavors."

Thomas Schuchardt on his departure: "I am grateful that I was able to accompany Gigaset during an entrepreneurially challenging phase as CFO. Together with my finance team and all employees, we have achieved a lot. I would like to thank Dr Magnus Ekerot, the staff and the Supervisory Board for their cooperation and wish them continued success."

Commenting on the CFO change, Dr Magnus Ekerot said: "I have worked with Mr. Schuchardt in a trusting manner over the last few months, but change is part of the business. I wish Mr. Schuchardt all the best in his personal and professional life. After a strong first quarter of 2023, my focus remains on driving the strategic realignment of the company for the future together with the management team."
