Stuttgart, November 4, 2021 - In a market environment still characterized by the uncertainties of the COVID 19 pandemic, we succeeded in Q3 2021 in continuing the positive trend of the first half of 2021. Contributing factors were revenue growth from third-party and proprietary software license sales realized in the first nine months of 2021 (EUR +3,208 k, +34.4%) and a consulting and service business that grew by EUR 887 k (+10.2%) in Q3 2021. Given this environment, revenues from proprietary software licenses increased by 23.7% and those from third-party software by as much as 38.9% in the first nine months. After nine months, CENIT Group generated sales revenues of EUR 109,237 k (previous year: EUR 109,710 k/-0.4%). Sales revenues in the CENIT consulting and services segment decreased by -2.7% to EUR 28,334 k (previous year: EUR 29,127 k). Sales of third-party software increased by 0.4% to EUR 69,524 k (previous year: EUR 69,227 k). Sales of CENIT's own software increased also from EUR 11,053 k to EUR 11,363 k (+2.8%). Gross profit (operating performance less cost of materials) amounted to EUR 55,181 k (previous year: EUR 53,770 k) and thus increased by 2.6%. CENIT achieved EBITDA of EUR 6,217 k (previous year: EUR 6,049 k/+2.8%) and EBIT of EUR 2,436 k (previous year: EUR 1,672 k/+45.7%). Earnings per share amounted to Cent 19.4 Looking at the third quarter of 2021 alone, a positive development can be noticed compared to the third quarter of 2020. Thus, consolidated sales increased by 0.8% to EUR 35,309 k (previous year: EUR 35,021 k), EBITDA increased by 20.3% to EUR 2,697 k (previous year: EUR 2,241 k) and EBIT amounted to EUR 1,500 k after EUR 891 k in the previous year (+68.3%).
