VERIANOS SE pays special dividend to fund investors of Small & Mid Cap Immobilienfonds 1

  • Multiple of the special distribution of 1.25x of paid-in equity capital to fund investors after refinancing of existing portfolio
  • Total distributions since fund launch at 1.9x of equity, final distribution expected in 2022

Cologne, 4 November 2021 - VERIANOS SE (ISIN: DE000A0Z2Y48) has made a special distribution to investors with a multiple of 1.25x of the paid-in equity capital for its Small & Mid Cap Immobilienfonds 1. This was preceded by the refinancing of the properties in the fund on the basis of the significantly increased market values after repositioning. As a result, the multiple of the distributions made has increased to over 1.9x of the paid-in equity capital since the fund's launch.

Tobias Bodamer, Managing Partner of VERIANOS SE: "The basis for this distribution was laid by the successful leases we have been able to close in the past 18 months. One of our key targets is to return the capital to our investors in a timely manner through regular dividends. After the sale of the properties remaining in the fund, we are planning to make a final distribution next year with a multiple of around 3x of the paid-in equity, within 6.5 years since launching the fund. We will continue to target attractive returns for our investors through disciplined acquisitions, active asset management and return-optimized holding periods whilst always putting capital protection first."

VERIANOS is currently in the final stage of capital raising for the VERIANOS European Opportunities Fund, which invests in small to mid-sized properties with attractive upside potential in Europe. The fund's seed portfolio consists of seven fully let commercial properties in Barcelona and Valencia. According to an independent appraisal, the portfolio has been valued well above purchase price. VERIANOS plans to build on its strong historical track record with carefully selected investments and regularly participates in the funds launched with a significant co-investment.
