029 Group SE - Change of name, capital increase entered in the commercial register and website launch to mark the next important step in the Group’s development as next-generation hospitality and lifestyle platform Berlin, August 18, 2022. 029 Group SE (formerly operating as Mendarion SE, ISIN: DE000A2LQ2D0, WKN: A2LQ2D) announces that the capital increase against contribution in kind resolved by the Extraordinary General Meeting of Mendarion SE on August 10, 2022 has been entered into the Commercial Register by the Local Court of Berlin (Charlottenburg) on August 17, 2022. As a result, the Company's share capital now amounts to EUR 5.0 million. The new shares from the capital increase against contributions in kind were subscribed by the major shareholder Apeiron Investment Group Ltd., which contributed interests in several portfolio companies from the hospitality and lifestyle sectors to the Company as a contribution in kind. In addition, the change of name of Mendarion SE to 029 Group SE, which was also resolved at the Extraordinary General Meeting, was entered in the Commercial Register. This completes the change of name of Mendarion SE to 029 Group SE. With the entry of the capital increase as well as the change of name, the company completes an important step in its corporate history. Under the new name 029 Group SE, which in its English pronunciation ("zero-two-nine") alludes to the happiness hormone serotonin, the company is pursuing the development of a next-generation hospitality and lifestyle platform as a global investment holding company.
