Wyden Expands Board With Renowned Tech VC Professionals to Accelerate Global Growth

Zurich, 4th December 2024 – Wyden, the global leader in institutional digital asset trading infrastructure, today announced the expansion of its board of directors with the appointment of Alexis Le Portz, Partner at Truffle Capital, and Kevin Low, Senior Vice President of Investment at SBI Ven Capital.

The move follows the successful completion of Wyden's Series B funding round, which secured $16.9 million and was spearheaded by Truffle Capital with participation from new investors SBI-Sygnum-Azimut Digital Asset Opportunity Fund, PostFinance, and FiveT Fintech. By securing its financing round – and strengthening its board of directors – Wyden will accelerate growth and solidify its position as the premier technology provider for banks, brokers, exchanges and other financial institutions in the digital asset trading space.

Empowering regulated financial institutions to offer digital asset products and services

Alexis Le Portz is currently serving as a Partner at Truffle Capital, a Paris based global fintech investment firm. He is a seasoned entrepreneur and innovation leader with +15 years of experience in digital strategy, venture capital, and emerging technologies like blockchain and AI. Previously, in 2017, he joined the Franco-German ODDO BHF group as Chief Innovation Officer to create the innovation department and lead the group's investments in leading European fintechs. He brings deep expertise in decentralized finance and transformative digital solutions.

Kevin Low is the Senior Vice President of Investment at SBI Ven Capital, the Southeast Asia arm of SBI Holdings, Inc., where he oversees an early-stage Web3 fund and serves on multiple investment committees. With over a decade of venture capital experience, including roles at SPH Ventures and a career foundation in engineering and biopharmaceuticals, Kevin brings a diverse perspective to evaluating emerging technologies.

Alexis Le Portz and Kevin Low bring decades of leadership experience and strategic insight to Wyden, further strengthening the firm’s ability to serve institutional clients navigating the evolving landscape of digital asset trading and regulatory compliance.

Andy Flury, founder and CEO of Wyden, said: "The expertise and network that Alexis and Kevin bring to our board will be instrumental in guiding our vision to empower regulated financial institutions to offer digital asset products and services. Their appointments mark another significant milestone in our journey to become the global standard for institutional digital asset trading solutions."

Andy Flury, Roger Altorfer, Martin Trepp, Theo Woik, and Martin Wiedmann remain on the Board of Directors of Wyden.
