CPI Europe agrees to sell property portfolio in Bratislava to WOOD & Company
CPI Europe Group is selling an office and retail complex in the Slovak capital to WOOD & Company, thus taking another step in its strategic portfolio optimisation. The transaction will create a new investment opportunity for WOOD & Company's clients, combining stable yields with future development potential.
The property portfolio comprises two myhive office buildings, a VIVO! shopping center and a 3,200 sqm plot of land with potential for residential development. Centrally located in Bratislava - Nové Mesto, the mixed-use complex offers approximately 70,000 sqm of usable space. The location is characterised by excellent infrastructure, an outstanding view and an integrated office and retail offering. Tenants of the two modern myhive office towers can enjoy the comfort and facilities of the VIVO! shopping center with 160 different retail and service businesses.
The sale to WOOD & Company will be carried in two tranches out as part of a share deal by the end of 2026, whereby tranche 1 provides for the establishment of a joint venture of CPI Europe Group and WOOD & Company, and tranche 2 for the complete sale of the portfolio. This structure allows for a smooth transition and implementation of WOOD & Company's ambitious plans for the complex. Closing of tranche 1 is anticipated in the first half of this year, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals. The transaction will be made roughly at the portfolio’s carrying amount. The acquisition represents another milestone in WOOD & Company's strategy of creating unique investment opportunities in prime locations across Central Europe.
