Im Bankrat der Basler Kantonalbank (BKB) kommt es zu zwei Veränderungen: Karoline Sutter und Urs Berger stellen sich nach über zehnjähriger Amtszeit nicht mehr für eine Wiederwahl für die nächste vierjährige Amtsperiode zur Verfügung. Die BKB und der Regierungsrat des Kantons Basel-Stadt danken den abtretenden Mitgliedern des Bankrats für die wertvolle und engagierte Mitarbeit. Die beiden abtretenden Bankratsmitglieder hatten während ihrer Amtszeit zentrale Funktionen im Oberleitungsgremium der BKB inne. Karoline Sutter übt seit 2017 das Amt der Vorsitzenden des Prüfungsausschusses aus, währenddessen Urs Berger ebenso seit 2017 den Vorsitz des Vergütungs- und Nominationsausschusses wahrnimmt. Regierungsrätin Dr. Tanja Soland und Adrian Bult, Bankratspräsident, bedanken sich bei den beiden Mitgliedern für ihre langjährige wertvolle Mitarbeit im obersten Führungsgremium der Bank. Sie haben in den vielen Jahren ihrer Tätigkeit mit ausserordentlicher Fachkompetenz und persönlichem Engagement die erfolgreiche Entwicklung der Basler Kantonalbank massgebend mitgestaltet und geprägt. Mit der Fokussierung auf die Stärken im Kerngeschäft und der konsequenten Verankerung der Nachhaltigkeit im Kundengeschäft ist die BKB für die Herausforderungen der Zukunft gut gerüstet. Die beiden Vakanzen werden in den nächsten Tagen ausgeschrieben. Die Wahl der Mitglieder des Bankrates erfolgt durch den Regierungsrat. Die nächste Amtsperiode startet per 1. April 2025.
