Medartis announces that its CEO, Christoph Brönnimann, has decided to resign from his position and leave the company to pursue other opportunities. Christoph will continue to lead Medartis until a successor is onboarded. He will remain focused on the execution of the company’s strategy and committed to a smooth transition to the new leadership. The Board has initiated a search for his successor and will announce an appointment in due course. Medartis Chairman, Marco Gadola, said: “Under Christoph’s leadership, Medartis has significantly accelerated its growth in its key markets, broadened the product portfolio and strengthened its standing with leading surgeons and hospitals worldwide. He has also expanded the capabilities of the organization and fostered an engaging culture, positioning the company for future success. This work will continue and growth remains our top priority.”
Christoph added: “While this has been a difficult decision for me, I am proud of what we have accomplished together over the past five years. I will leave behind a talented executive team, a passionate organization and a company with huge potential for future growth.”
