q.beyond gewinnt Thorsten Dirks als neuen Aufsichtsrat
Köln, 6. Februar 2024 – Das Amtsgericht Köln hat Thorsten Dirks auf Antrag des Vorstands zum neuen Aufsichtsrat des IT-Dienstleisters q.beyond AG bestellt. Der Digitalisierungsexperte ersetzt Dr. Frank Zurlino, der im Dezember 2023 unerwartet verstorben war. Dirks wird sich der nächsten ordentlichen Hauptversammlung am 29. Mai 2024 zur Wahl stellen. q.beyond-Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender Dr. Bernd Schlobohm erklärt: „Ich freue mich sehr über die Bereitschaft von Thorsten Dirks, sich bei q.beyond zu engagieren. Aus seiner Zeit als Präsident des Branchenverbands Bitkom und als Digitalisierungsvorstand der Deutschen Lufthansa kennt er unser Geschäft und wird wertvolle Impulse geben.“ Der 1963 geborene Dirks wurde nach einer internationalen Karriere in der Telekommunikationsbranche 2014 zum Vorstandsvorsitzenden der Telefónica Deutschland ernannt. 2017 wechselte er als Vorstand zur Deutschen Lufthansa, wo er zuletzt das Ressort „Digitales und Finanzwesen“ leitete. In den Jahren 2021 und 2022 war er CEO der Deutschen Glasfaser und konzentriert sich seitdem auf seine Aufsichtsrats- und Beiratstätigkeiten.
