FORTEC Elektronik AG: Adjustment to the turnover and earnings forecast for the 2024/2025 financial year

After evaluating the preliminary figures, FORTEC Elektronik AG has not been able to achieve the same high level of turnover and earnings in the first six months of the 2024/2025 financial year due to the overall difficult economic circumstances and the general cost increases. In the first half of 2024/2025, the preliminary group turnover was around EUR 36 million (previous year: EUR 47.0 million), and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) at around EUR 0.2 million (previous year: EUR 4.5 million).

As it has become apparent that the second half of the 2024/2025 financial year cannot compensate for the development shown in the first half of the year as initially assumed, the FORTEC Elektronik AG management board has decided to adjust the forecast for the current financial year. It now expects a group turnover of between EUR 80.0 million and 95.0 million (previously: EUR 95.0 million to EUR 110,0 million) and a group EBIT of between EUR 4.0 million and EUR 6.0 million (previously: EUR 6.0 million to EUR 8.0 million).

With the adjustment of the short-term forecast and in light of the expected further economic development, the medium-term forecast from 2023 has also been postponed. The medium-term sales target of EUR 120.0 million to EUR 130.0 million will be postponed from 2026 to 2030.

The half-year report will be available on the Group website at https://www.fortecag.de/en/investor-relations/reports/ from 27 March 2025.
