EQS-Ad-hoc: GRAMMER Aktiengesellschaft / Key word(s): Preliminary Results Publication of inside information pursuant to Article 17 of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 GRAMMER AG (WKN 589540, ISIN DE0005895403)
GRAMMER AG: Revenue and earnings performance in the fourth quarter of 2024 below the previous year – preliminary earnings for 2024 as a whole differ from the forecast Ursensollen, February 7, 2025 – According to preliminary figures, GRAMMER AG recorded Group revenues of around EUR 449.7 million in the fourth quarter of 2024 (Q4 2023: EUR 522.1 million), a year-on-year decline of around 14 %. The financial figures for 2024 and for the previous year have been adjusted for the discontinued operation of the TMD Group. Accordingly, operating EBIT in the fourth quarter 2024 fell to approximately EUR 3.6 million (Q4 2023: EUR 30.6 million) and is therefore significantly below the figures for the previous year. Operating EBIT was adjusted for positive currency effects of approximately EUR 4.6 million and one-time expenses for special projects of around EUR 3.9 million, including in particular restructuring expenses. The operating EBIT in the fourth quarter of 2024 was particularly impacted by the decline in revenue and higher costs due to volatile plant utilization. In all three regions, revenue in the fourth quarter of 2024 was significantly below the previous year’s level. This is due to continued weak demand from OEMs as a result of widespread macroeconomic and industry-specific uncertainty. Due to the unexpectedly weak fourth quarter, Group revenue in fiscal year 2024 was slightly below the forecast of around EUR 2 billion at around EUR 1.9 billion. Operating EBIT is expected to be around EUR 41 million due to the revenue performance falling short of expectations, and thus below the forecast prior-year figure of EUR 56.8 million. GRAMMER AG will publish the full annual financial statements and the 2024 Annual Report on 28 March 2025.
