Nordex Group erhält Folgeauftrag von Aquila Clean Energy aus Spanien über 141,6 MW

Hamburg, 31. Juli 2024. Aquila Clean Energy hat die Nordex Group mit einer weiteren Lieferung von 24 Turbinen des Typs N163/5.X in Spanien beauftragt. Zu den erst im Juni 2024 beauftragten 21 Anlagen mit 124 MW für den Windpark-Cluster Baza liefert die Nordex Group für dieses Projekt zusätzliche 24 Turbinen mit insgesamt 141,6 MW. Auch dieser zweite Auftrag umfasst einen Premium-Service-Vertrag mit einer Laufzeit von 20 Jahren. Die Anlagen der Baureihe Delta4000 errichtet die Nordex Group ab 2025 auf 108 Meter hohen Stahlrohrtürmen. Der in der südspanischen Provinz Granada gelegene Baza-Cluster wird nach Inbetriebnahme im Jahr 2026 aus 45 Turbinen des Typs N163/5.X mit einer Gesamtnennleistung von über 265 MW bestehen. Nach der Erteilung des ersten Auftrags im Juni 2024 hatten beide Parteien vereinbart, dass Aquila Clean Energy bis zum 31. August 2024 die Option hat, die Gesamtzahl der Turbinen im Cluster Baza um bis zu 24 zusätzliche Anlagen zu erweitern. „Wir freuen uns, dass Aquila Clean Energy für den Bau des Windpark-Clusters Baza jetzt auch die zusätzliche Option vollständig gezogen und weitere 24 Turbinen bei Nordex bestellt hat. Das ist für uns ein großer Ansporn, dieses umfangreiche Projekt im Sinne unseres Stammkunden erfolgreich umzusetzen und das in uns gesetzte Vertrauen zu erfüllen“, so Patxi Landa, Vertriebsvorstand der Nordex Group. Die Nordex Group im Profil Die Gruppe hat in ihrer Unternehmensgeschichte bislang insgesamt rund 52 GW Windenergieleistung in über 40 Märkten installiert und erzielte im Jahr 2023 einen Konzernumsatz von rund EUR 6,5 Mrd. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt derzeit mehr als 10.200 Mitarbeiter. Zum Fertigungsverbund gehören Werke in Deutschland, Spanien, Brasilien, Indien, USA und Mexiko. Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen vor allem der Klassen 4 bis 6 MW+, die auf die Marktanforderungen von Ländern mit begrenzten Ausbauflächen und Regionen mit begrenzten Netzkapazitäten ausgelegt sind.
