Ørsted erteilt ersten Auftrag an irische Niederlassung der Nordex Group

Hamburg, 12. September 2024. Ørsted hat die Nordex Group mit der Lieferung und Errichtung von neun Turbinen des Typs N133/4800 für den 43-MW-Windpark Farranrory in Irland beauftragt. Der Vertrag umfasst auch den Premium Plus Service der Anlagen nach Inbetriebnahme über 20 Jahre. Es ist der erste Auftrag zwischen dem dänischen Energieunternehmen Ørsted - einem der weltweit größten Unternehmen für erneuerbare Energien - und der Nordex Group. Die Turbinen für Farranrory errichtet die Nordex Group ab Sommer 2025 auf Stahlrohrtürmen. Nach Fertigstellung und Inbetriebnahme 2026 soll Farranrory 25.000 irische Haushalte mit sauberem Strom versorgen. Ørsted hat seinen Hauptsitz in Dänemark und beschäftigt ca. 8.900 Mitarbeiter. Die Aktien von Ørsted sind an der Nasdaq Kopenhagen (Ørsted) notiert. Im Jahr 2023 belief sich der Umsatz der Gruppe auf 79,3 Mrd. DKK (10,6 Mrd. EUR).
Die Nordex Group im Profil Die Gruppe hat in ihrer Unternehmensgeschichte bislang insgesamt rund 52 GW Windenergieleistung in über 40 Märkten installiert und erzielte im Jahr 2023 einen Konzernumsatz von rund EUR 6,5 Mrd. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt derzeit mehr als 10.200 Mitarbeiter. Zum Fertigungsverbund gehören Werke in Deutschland, Spanien, Brasilien, Indien, USA und Mexiko. Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen vor allem der Klassen 4 bis 6 MW+, die auf die Marktanforderungen von Ländern mit begrenzten Ausbauflächen und Regionen mit begrenzten Netzkapazitäten ausgelegt sind.
