EQS-Ad-hoc: 2G Energy AG / Key word(s): Personnel Ad hoc announcement in accordance with Art. 17 of the Market Abuse Ordinance 2G Energy AG: Personnel changes to the Management Board and Supervisory Board Heek, February 6, 2025 – The Supervisory Board and Management Board of 2G Energy AG (ISIN DE000A0HL8N9) agreed the following personnel changes to the Management Board and the Supervisory Board today: The Supervisory Board appoints Chief Sales Officer (CSO) Pablo Hofelich to the Management Board of 2G Energy AG with effect from the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on June 12, 2025. Mr. Hofelich will take over the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from the current CEO Christian Grotholt. The Management Board contracts with company founder and CEO Christian Grotholt and COO Ludger Holtkamp expire at the end of July 2025. Mr. Grotholt intends to join the Supervisory Board of 2G Energy AG following his Management Board activities in order to remain with the company. Corresponding amendments to the Articles of Association to expand the Supervisory Board from three to four members as well as the election of Mr. Grotholt to the Supervisory Board are to be proposed to the Annual General Meeting. Mr. Holtkamp is not available for any further extension to his contract for personal reasons and he will step down from the Management Board of 2G Energy AG at his own request and on the best of terms as of July 31, 2025. As from August 1, 2025, the management board responsibilities will be distributed under the new CEO Pablo Hofelich: Frank Grewe will remain Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and take additional responsibility for the production and procurement activities. Mr. Friedrich Pehle will continue in his role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The current CSO role of Mr. Hofelich will merge with the CEO role.
