Pliezhausen, 09.01.2024. DATAGROUP (WKN A0JC8S) announces the acquisition of IT service provider iT TOTAL which is headquartered in Stuttgart and Rottweil. DATAGROUP strengthens its presence in the Southwest of Germany and reinforces its position with attractive customers and proven IT experts.

Founded in 1999, iT TOTAL has around 40 employees and generates revenue of roughly EUR 11m p.a. Alongside IT projects and retail business with the associated service revenue, the company has also established a strongly growing managed services sector. With the CORBOX, an established modular suite of services, which covers the entire breadth of corporate IT, DATAGROUP is an ideal partner to further drive the expansion towards a full-service provider and to provide the customers of iT TOTAL with an even broader portfolio of IT services going forward.

“In iT TOTAL we have gained a company which does not only strengthen our presence in the strong economic area of Southwest Germany, but also contributes an interesting customer portfolio that offers excellent potential for cross and upselling of our CORBOX services”, explains Andreas Baresel, CEO of DATAGROUP.

“We look forward to being a part of DATAGROUP and benefit from its position and experience in managed services”, say Tobias Birk and Joachim Schiele, members of the Management Board of iT TOTAL. “We are sure that we have found a good ‘home’ for both our employees and our customers with great synergy potential and excellent perspectives.”

This is DATAGROUP’s 33rd acquisition since the IPO in 2006. With this wealth of experience, the “100 Days DATAGROUP” guideline and the CORBOX Managed IT Services model, which can be easily docked on, the company is an expert in integrating and developing IT service companies. The acquisition comprises 100 % of the shares in iT TOTAL AG. This is already the second acquisition in the current fiscal year 2023/2024. DATAGROUP plans to continue its inorganic growth path with further company acquisitions.
