aconnic wins order to expand gigabit infrastructure in Mexico with a value of 11 mn EUR

aconnic AG (ISIN: DE000A0LBKW6), Munich, announces the conclusion of an order from Mexico. The order includes the delivery and installation of systems for the built up and expansion of the communication infrastructure in Mexico and has a total value of 11 mn EUR.

The order primarily includes 1 gigabit-, 10 gigabit- and for the first time 100 gigabit-systems for fiber optic infrastructure for the digital connectivity of companies as well as 5G mobile networks.

Since 2017 aconnic has been active in Mexico and has continuously expanded its business since then. aconnic offers nationwide installation and support for telecommunications network operators in Mexico and has invested in a full digitalized workflow. The aconnic network management system MetroIntegrator is also in service to provision and manage networks. In 2024, sales growth in Mexico was about 10%.

"The new order in Mexico confirms our strategic approach of working closely with customers worldwide in order to provide services on site with our own team. Our goal is to fulfill this order by the third quarter of 2025. If we meet this goal, there is additional potential for 2025," said Werner Neubauer, CEO of aconnic.
