adesso establishes delivery center in India

Dortmund/Thiruvananthapuram, 31 May 2023 – With the acquisition of the Indian software company Trieste Digital Solutions Private Ltd., which has around 20 employees and is based in the southwestern Indian state of Kerala, adesso continues its international expansion. For the first time adesso establishes a delivery center outside Europe. After the renaming the new adesso India will strengthen the adesso Group's global delivery and transformation capabilities and enhance its attractiveness as an international digitalization partner.

The Indian adesso team already successfully serves international customers in the business areas of insurance, manufacturing, automotive, banking and energy industry in the fields of IT consulting, software and product development, cloud computing, process automation, testing, managed services. Capacities in India are also to be expanded rapidly via other locations. To this end, the IT manager Pramod Murali Dharan, who has already been employed by adesso in Frankfurt since mid-2022, will become Managing Director of adesso India. He will be responsible for both the strategic and operational management of the new delivery center. The native Indian has more than two decades of global experience in the IT industry and has already worked in India, the USA and Europe. His Indian counterpart and Co-Managing Director will be IT expert Shali Hassan from Kerala. Shali Hassan has also been working successfully as an IT manager internationally for more than twenty years

Torsten Wegener is the responsible member of the Executive Board of adesso SE for the new branch office in India. The internationally experienced leader explains the move to India: "Offshoring in India gives us the opportunity to scale further in terms of delivery capability and to assert ourselves in this field. Our goal to establish adesso as a fast-growing European IT company with global delivery capabilities is actively supported by our new ‘SmartShore’-delivery center in India. This makes adesso even more flexible and attractive as a technology partner for customers worldwide."

Only in April of this year, adesso announced the opening of a new national subsidiary in the United Kingdom. One focus there will initially be on supplying companies in the UK with attractive near- and offshore offers from the adesso Group's global delivery network, which is gaining further importance with the growing company in India.
