EQS-Ad-hoc: Gothaer Allgemeine Versicherung AG / Key word(s): Preliminary Results/Preliminary Results Cologne/Wuppertal, 6 December 2024 – Co-CEOs Dr. Andreas Eurich and Oliver Schoeller will present the preliminary figures for the current financial year to the press at today’s annual financial statements press conference. The BarmeniaGothaer Group is expected to report premium revenues of € 8.52 billion – an increase of 6.1 percent compared to the previous year – and growth of 2.4 percentage points above market level.[1] The Group equity base is expected to reach a solid value of around € 2 billion by the end of the year. Gross premiums written by Gothaer Allgemeine Versicherung AG in the region of € 2.6 billion are anticipated. This represents a 9.3 percent increase versus 2023 and clear above-market growth. The combined ratio (gross) is expected to be around 94 per cent. Rating agency S&P Global Ratings (S&P) raised the outlook from “stable” to “positive” and confirmed the “A” rating of Gothaer Allgemeine Versicherung AG, Gothaer Lebensversicherung AG and Gothaer Krankenversicherung AG in June 2024 in light of the merger between Barmenia and Gothaer. S&P’s upward revision of the outlook has opened up an opportunity to improve the current rating by a further increment to “A+” within the next 12 to 24 months.[2]
