März 2023 – Im Rahmen der heutigen Bilanzpressekonferenz wird Konzernvorstand Oliver Schoeller die Zahlen für das Geschäftsjahr 2022 präsentieren. Für das abgelaufene Geschäftsjahr verzeichnet der Gothaer Konzern Beitragseinnahmen in Höhe von 4,6 Milliarden Euro (-2,3 Prozent im Vergleich zum sehr starken Vorjahr).[1] Trotz Inflation und Rezessionssorgen wurde die Konzern-Eigenkapitalbasis 2022 weiter gestärkt und liegt bei 1,5 Milliarden Euro (Vorjahreswert 1,4 Milliarden Euro). Der Konzern-Jahresüberschuss beträgt 83 Millionen Euro (+1,3 Prozent). Die Beiträge im Firmenkundensegment stiegen um 9,1 Prozent, wodurch die Gothaer ihre Position als führender Partner für den Mittelstand weiter ausbauen konnte. Die gebuchten Bruttobeiträge der Gothaer Allgemeine Versicherung AG lagen mit 2.157 Millionen Euro 6,7 Prozent über dem Niveau von 2021 und 2,7 Prozentpunkte über Marktniveau. Im Neugeschäft konnte ein Rekordergebnis von 94 Millionen Euro erzielt werden. Dies entspricht einem Wachstum von über 30 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorjahr. Der Jahresüberschuss der Gothaer Allgemeine Versicherung AG beträgt 42 Millionen Euro. Die internationale Rating-Agentur Standard & Poor‘s Global Ratings hatte Ende 2022 das Rating der Kerngesellschaften des Gothaer Konzerns trotz schwieriger Marktbedingungen bestätigt: Die Gothaer Allgemeine Versicherung AG, die Gothaer Lebensversicherung AG und die Gothaer Krankenversicherung AG werden weiterhin mit „A“ eingestuft, der Ausblick ist „stable“.
