DWK Deutsche Wasserkraft AG completes cash capital increase with subscription rights and capital increase against contribution in kind
Hamburg, 30 January 2025 – DWK Deutsche Wasserkraft AG (‘DWK’, ISIN: DE000A2AAB74) has successfully completed its cash capital increase with rights offering. In total, all 552,116 new no-par-value bearer shares were subscribed at a subscription price of EUR 1.60. The subscription ratio for existing shareholders was 4:1, i.e. four shares held by a shareholder entitled the holder to subscribe for one new share.
As a result of the full subscription of all new shares offered, the issue volume of the transaction is EUR 883,385.60. The funds from the capital increase will be used to further strengthen the company's strategic focus on the rapidly growing market for small-hydro power plants in Scandinavia and the DACH region. The new shares will be included in trading on the Hamburg Stock Exchange in the near future. DWK was supported by mwb fairtrade Wertpapierhandelsbank AG in the cash capital increase.
In addition to the cash capital increase, DWK has also carried out a capital increase in kind of EUR 218,750 (see ad hoc announcement dated 1 October 2024). All shares in ANTARES Hydropower Norway AS (‘Antares’) have been contributed to the company.
DWK's share capital increased to EUR 2,979,330 after the cash capital increase and capital increase against contributions in kind.
