The "Live Identity Check" ("ID Check" for short) enables continuous customer authentication. net digital is presenting a prototype of the product for the first time as part of a live demonstration at the fintech event Money 20/20 Europe in Amsterdam today. The market launch of ID Check is planned for the 3rd quarter of 2023. Based on Artificial Intelligence (AI), ID Check enables the automatic authentication of persons on the basis of corresponding documents, such as ID cards or passports. Subsequently, the identity is continuously compared - also in real time. In the process, AI-based checks are carried out on an ongoing basis to determine whether the person currently using digital services matches the previous authentication. The product thus opens up a new dimension in the area of KYC and security, for instance during livestreams, which enables providers to comprehensively and automatically ensure compliance with personal usage restrictions of all kinds. It also allows control processes to be structured efficiently. With ID Check, net digital is further expanding its product portfolio and using the expertise in Artificial Intelligence bundled in its subsidiary irisnet to develop both responsible and meaningful innovations. In combination with net digital's applications in the payment sector, customers receive a holistic solution spectrum which raises the use and billing of digital offers to a level which goes far beyond the current legal requirements while maintaining a high level of economic efficiency.
