VIB Vermögen AG continues diversification strategy as announced

  • Expansion of the asset base to include further office properties
  • Three properties in Mannheim, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf acquired from Branicks

Neuburg/Danube, June 28, 2024: VIB Vermögen AG ("VIB"), a company specializing in the development, acquisition and management of commercial real estate, has acquired three further properties in the office asset class, thereby continuing its strategy of diversifying its asset base. Properties in Mannheim, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf with a total area of 38,280 square meters were acquired from Branicks Group AG ("Branicks") for a price of EUR 125.8 million.

VIB's strategic goal is to create a balanced asset base of high-quality commercial properties in the logistics and office sectors in Germany and neighbouring countries.

"As already announced, VIB is pursuing a clear strategy of further diversifying the logistics and office asset classes. The acquisition of three office properties serves this objective, as does the associated regional expansion into western Germany," comments Dirk Oehme, CEO of VIB Vermögen AG.
