CORPORATE NEWS April 7, 2025 PFISTERER acquires long-standing partner Power CSL - portfolio expanded to include subsea solutions Winterbach, Germany – PFISTERER Holding SE, international quality leader in electrical connection technology for energy infrastructure, announces the full acquisition of Power CSL, with effect from April 2, 2025. Power CSL is a leading specialist engineering company providing products and services for the connection of subsea cables for the global offshore industry. The British engineering company is a long-standing business partner of PFISTERER, with both companies having worked together successfully for more than ten years. This strategic acquisition strengthens PFISTERER's market position for electrical connection technology and enables the company to expand its portfolio to include solutions for subsea applications in the future. Power CSL had a turnover of around EUR 3.5 million in 2024 and is highly profitable. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. A strategic partnership for offshore innovation PFISTERER’s expertise in electrical connection technology and Power CSL’s know-how in designing subsea-compatible joint housings and integrated fibre optic connection systems form a perfect combination in offshore applications. The already substantial offshore sector is expected to record extremely strong growth over the next years. Recently, the two companies successfully completed a joint development project, developing a universal subsea cable repair joint for transmission system operator TenneT which brings significant benefits in logistics and spare parts management. “The acquisition of Power CSL is another milestone in the development of our company,” says Member of the Executive Board and spokesman Johannes Linden. “It allows us to expand our product portfolio and offer our customers connectivity solutions for subsea applications“. Power CSL will become a full subsidiary of PFISTERER Holding SE. This will create technical synergies and optimize the use of resources for the benefit of both PFISTERER and Power CSL customers. “By integrating Power CSL, PFISTERER will be able to offer joints for high-voltage subsea cables from a single source - a decisive step towards strengthening PFISTERER’s market position and expand new fields of application”, adds Dr. Konstantin Kurfiss, Member of the Executive Board. PFISTERER continues to drive its growth strategy forward The acquisition is a consistent element of PFISTERER Holding SE's long-term growth strategy. It underlines the company's clear commitment to drive technological innovation, open up new markets and meet customer needs with an integrated solution approach. With this move, PFISTERER is consolidating its position as a leading provider of power connectivity technologies across all elements - on land, overhead, underground and subsea.
