Photon Energy Secures Contract with Greenvolt Group to Provide Solar Asset Management in Hungary
Amsterdam/Budapest – 12 March 2025 – Photon Energy N.V. (WSE&PSE: PEN, FSX: A1T9KW) (“Photon Energy” or the “Company”) has signed a contract with Greenvolt Power (the “Client”), a leading international wind, solar and energy storage developer, and part of Greenvolt Group, to provide asset management for the Client’s Királyegyháza solar PV power plant. “We are delighted to work with Greenvolt, leveraging our in-house expertise to deliver comprehensive asset management now that the power plant is in operation,” said Georg Hotar, CEO of Photon Energy Group. “This collaboration with Photon Energy ensures that our solar PV asset in Hungary is managed with high standards of efficiency and performance – essential for consolidating our position as a key player in the utility-scale segment,” said Jacek Bladek, COO of Greenvolt Power. Covering 75 hectares, the facility is distributed across three municipalities (Királyegyháza, Szentlőrinc and Kacsóta) in the Szentlőrinc district of southern Hungary and has a combined installed capacity of 57 MWp. The Company will provide full asset management services to the Client, including contract management, owner representation, reporting, project management and technical management. Photon Energy’s Operations & Maintenance division now has a total of over 1.1 GWp of installed PV capacity under O&M and asset management contracts in its key CEE markets and Australia, with several additional contracts under negotiation and expected to be concluded by the end of the year. In Hungary, the Company currently has installed solar PV assets with a total capacity of 400 MWp under O&M and asset management contracts.
