Á aðalfundi Símans hf. þann 13. mars sl. var samþykkt tillaga stjórnar félagsins um að lækka hlutafé félagsins um kr. 175.000.000 að nafnverði en eftir lækkun yrði hlutafé samtals kr. 2.475.000.000. Lækkunin tekur til eigin hluta sem félagið hefur eignast með kaupum á eigin hlutum samkvæmt endurkaupaáætlunum.
Þann 20. mars sl. var tilkynnt um að beiðni hafi verið send á Nasdaq CSD Iceland um lækkun hlutafjárins og að hún myndi koma til framkvæmdar mánudaginn 24. mars 2025.
Framangreind lækkun hefur nú komið til framkvæmdar og tilkynnist því hér með að heildarfjöldi hluta í Símanum hf. er í dag, 24. mars 2025, kr. 2.475.000.000 að nafnverði og fylgir eitt atkvæði hverjum hlut í félaginu. Félagið á 25.172.462 eigin hluti að teknu tilliti til lækkunarinnar.
Að öðru leyti er vísað til fyrri tilkynninga félagsins um niðurstöður aðalfundar frá 13. mars 2025 og um lækkun hlutafjár frá 20. mars 2025.
