PIERER Mobility und CFMOTO verstärken die Zusammenarbeit
Die PIERER Mobility, Europas führender Hersteller von „Powered-Two-Wheelers“, und CFMOTO verstärken ihre Zusammenarbeit in den Bereichen Produktstrategie, Entwicklung, sowie Industrialisierung. Bereits mit Jänner 2023 übernahm KTM den Vertrieb von CFMOTO Motorrädern in Deutschland, Österreich, der Schweiz, Spanien sowie Großbritannien. Die Unternehmensgruppe baut dabei auf ihre exzellente Vertriebsorganisation in diesen Märkten. Die Produktionskapazität soll von derzeit 50.000 auf 100.000 Stück erhöht werden.
„Zwischen PIERER Mobility und CFMOTO besteht eine langjährige Partnerschaft. CFMOTO ist unser Produktions- und Vertriebspartner für KTM-Motorräder in China, der dafür in den letzten Jahren seine Kapazitäten und Lieferketten erweitert hat,“ so Hubert Trunkenpolz, Vorstandsmitglied der PIERER Mobility. „Wir arbeiten gut zusammen. Die Familie Lai als Mehrheitsaktionär von CFMOTO kennen wir schon seit mehr als zehn Jahren. Die Intensivierung des Joint Ventures und die Zusammenarbeit in den Bereichen Produktstrategie, Produktentwicklung, Industrialisierung und Vertrieb ist eine konsequente Weiterentwicklung unserer Kooperation und ein weiterer Schritt, um die steigende Marktnachfrage in China und dem asiatischen Raum, sowie auch weltweit bedienen zu können.“
Als Zeichen der Vertiefung der Zusammenarbeit erhöht CFMOTO ihre Beteiligung an der börsenotierten PIERER Mobility AG auf 2,0 %.
