26.05.2025 Um zur Reduktion von Treibhausgasemissionen und des Ressourcenverbrauchs beizutragen, hat HUBER+SUHNER gemeinsam mit Axjo, einem schwedischen Lieferanten hochwertiger Spulen und Kabeltrommeln, ein Pilotprojekt gestartet. Dabei werden die Kunststofftrommeln, die zum Transport von Kabeln an Kunden verwendet werden, gesammelt und wiederverwertet. Zunächst wird das zirkuläre System Kunden in Deutschland angeboten. HUBER+SUHNER ist sich der Bedeutung der Zusammenarbeit – speziell auch mit Partnern in der Wertschöpfungskette – bewusst, um eigene Nachhaltigkeitsziele, aber auch jene ihrer Kunden und Lieferanten zu erreichen. Zusammen mit Axjo wird vorerst Kunden in Deutschland ein kostenloser Abholservice leerer Kabeltrommeln, ungeachtet des Zustandes, angeboten. Nach der Rücknahme findet eine Qualitätskontrolle durch Axjo statt, wobei beschädigte Trommeln repariert und dann bis zu achtmal wiederverwendet werden können. Nach Ende der Lebensdauer werden die Kabeltrommeln granuliert und zu neuen verarbeitet. „Nachhaltigkeit ist ein integraler Bestandteil unserer Firmenstrategie und führt damit auch zu innovativen Lösungen mit Partnern wie Axjo. Durch die Rückgabe, Reparatur oder das Rezyklieren der Trommeln werden Materialverbrauch, Abfall und Emissionen reduziert. Das ist ein wichtiger Schritt in Richtung Kreislaufwirtschaft und Ressourcenschonung,“ so Lana Ollier, Head Global Sustainability & Environment bei HUBER+SUHNER.
