Corporate News IBU-tec advanced materials AG records strong battery business with high order intake
Weimar, July 24, 2025 – IBU-tec advanced materials AG (“IBU-tec”, ISIN: DE000A0XYHT5) reports strong battery business in the first seven months of the current financial year. To date, the volume of incoming orders in the battery segment is at the level of the entire prior year. For example, IBU-tec recently received a major order from PowerCo SE (see public disclosure of inside information dated July 18, 2025) and another scaling order from the battery manufacturer for LFP battery material in the single-digit million euro range. The latest orders for LFP battery material underpin IBU-tec's dynamic growth strategy in the battery segment. Based on this positive development, IBU-tec AG confirms its strategy in the battery business with sales expectations including substantial growth rates in the next two to three years. Jörg Leinenbach, CEO of IBU-tec: "We have achieved important operational and strategic goals in the field of battery materials thanks to the very high order volume to date. The current very positive trend in the battery sector clearly shows that the expansion of a European supply chain is gaining momentum. We are very pleased to be an important part of this development.”
