SaaS insurance platform: Provinzial Group bundles several brands on cloud-based solution in|sure Ecosphere Provinzial is intensifying its long-standing cooperation with adesso and will in future use the insurance platform in|sure Ecosphere as Software as a Service (SaaS) for the brands andsafe AG, S-Direkt Versicherung AG and ProTect Versicherung AG. By standardising the IT landscapes of the three companies, they can leverage synergies and adapt flexibly to market conditions. In addition, the use of cloud technology allows for better scaling and reaction to seasonal peaks, such as the change in car insurance in November. This leads to a reduction in IT operating costs. The comprehensive transformation to the new SaaS operating model should be completed by the end of 2026. in|sure Ecosphere is already being used successfully at andsafe and is now also firmly established at S-Direkt and ProTect. As a SaaS solution, the platform is now moving from andsafe's cloud operations to adesso’s, which has been successfully offering this operating model for life insurance companies via its subsidiary Afida since 2022. It is now also being used in the property and casualty segment for the first time. adesso sees a growing market for SaaS product offerings, particularly in property and casualty insurance. The motivation on the customer side lies above all in the requirements for scalability, time-to-market and the desired focus on competitively differentiating corporate capabilities. The SaaS solution saves the customer money, increases process automation and facilitates entry into new business areas. The adesso Group is cooperating with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud-based procurement – a model that the IT service provider has already successfully implemented with other insurers. The established platform in|sure Ecosphere from the subsidiary adesso insurance solutions is provided via this platform.
