  • Drive revenue growth and innovation with a multi-site B2B e-commerce platform
  • Architecture that can scale to accommodate rapid deployment of additional shops
  • One e-commerce platform supports multiple companies selling under different brands
  • Advanced integration with various ERP systems

Jena (DE) / Paris (FR), December 3, 2024 - DBNext, the B2B division of the Baelen Group based in France, has undertaken an ambitious digital transformation, streamlining e-commerce on one single platform for new online shops of multiple companies. Right at the heart of it is the Intershop Commerce Platform, implemented by and supplemented with leading expertise provided by DSS Partners, positioning DBNext toward better servicing customers and scaling digital presence.

Introduction to the transformation of DBNext
"This milestone integration empowers each of our companies to compete and grow, equipped with digital tools tailored to their needs," comments Romain Roels, Chief Digital Officer at DBNext. "Intershop's out-of-the-box B2B features, and flexible framework enable us to onboard companies at diverse levels of digital maturity, ease ERP integrations, and ensure continuity across our growing network."

This transformation allows DBNext to onboard two to three companies each year more efficiently, leading to increased customer satisfaction through personalized services. Furthermore, the seamless integration of ERP, CRM, and PIM systems enhances overall operational effectiveness.

The DSS Partners' role
The new digital backbone for DBNext entails integration across ERP, CRM, and PIM-systems to meet each company's particular needs. DSS Partners applied deep knowledge of the B2B e-commerce complexity by implementing a DSS digital accelerator to enable DBNext to reach its ambition with onboarding two to three new companies online on an annual basis. With the successful launch of its first channel and execution of initial tests, DBNext expects increased digital revenue and customer satisfaction from features like automated quotes, personalized product assortment, and punch-out.

Innovation in B2B e-commerce
The partnership of Intershop with DBNext reflects its leading role in innovating B2B e-commerce. "This cooperation with DBNext underlines Intershop's capability to provide scalable and agile digital solutions for complex B2B ecosystems. We're jointly pushing transformative strategies upward in the realm of B2B e-commerce," said Markus Klahn, CEO of Intershop.
