CompuGroup Medical wins digitization expert Ulf Hönick for the pharmacy business Koblenz - CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. KGaA (CGM), one of the world's leading e-health providers, has gained another experienced healthcare expert. On August 1, Ulf Hönick will take over the management of CGM Lauer. Over the past few years, Ulf Hönick has supported, significantly shaped and successfully advanced the digitization of the German healthcare sector in key positions. Among other things, Hönick was as CEO at Noventi Digital responsible for the development and implementation of new business models for the pharmacy market and has extensive management experience in the e-health sector. In his new role, he reports to Emanuele Mugnani, Managing Director Ambulatory Information Systems Europe. “Ulf Hönick is a Telematics Infrastructure expert from the very beginning and has many years of experience as a manager in the healthcare sector. With his extensive expertise in corporate and organizational development as well as project portfolio management and product development, he will be a great asset in continuing the success story of CGM Lauer. Our aim is very clear: to support pharmacies with the best solutions and the best service and thereby improve the healthcare system as a whole,” says Emanuele Mugnani. Ulf Hönick (54) was most recently leading his own management consultancy for digital health, after previously working for Noventi Group for more than five years with roles as CEO for Noventi Digital GmbH and as Director Digital Health for Noventi SE. Prior to that, the electrical engineer was COO/overall project manager at gematik in Berlin, where he played a key role in the introduction of the electronic health card and the development of the Telematics Infrastructure in Germany. Prior to this, he worked for many years in management positions at VeriFone, Siemens Healthcare and Infineon Technologies, among others.
