Changes in the Executive Board of FUCHS SE

Mannheim, March 7, 2025 – The Supervisory Board of FUCHS SE and the two Executive Board members Isabelle Adelt (CFO) and Dr. Sebastian Heiner (CTO) have agreed that their Executive Board contracts, which expire on October 31, 2025 and December 31, 2025 respectively, will not be extended. Both will pursue new professional careers outside FUCHS in the future.

Isabelle Adelt (40) has been appointed to the Executive Board as CFO from November 1, 2022. Alongside the traditional CFO functions, she takes responsibility for Legal, Investor Relations and Digitalization. Prior to this, she held a senior position at SCHENCK PROCESS HOLDING in Darmstadt. In addition to her finance role, she has been particularly active in driving the implementation of the SAP software solution S/4HANA and the harmonization of platforms, processes and data structures.

Sebastian Heiner (46) has started at FUCHS in 2020 as Vice President Global Procurement.

On January 1, 2023, he has taken over the entire technical area of responsibility and has been appointed to the Executive Board as CTO. Before he joined FUCHS, Heiner held various management positions at BASF. During his time at FUCHS, Heiner has fostered the group’s technological development and contributed his expertise, especially in the areas of procurement, product management and production.

“We would like to thank Isabelle Adelt and Sebastian Heiner very much for all the work they have done and their commitment to the FUCHS Group,” says Dr. Christoph Loos, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of FUCHS SE. “Both have made valuable contributions to the success of the group in the last few years. We wish them all the best for the future,” adds CEO Stefan Fuchs.

Successors have already been found for both Executive Board positions, ensuring an orderly transition.

Esma Saglik (49) will take over the responsibilities of Isabelle Adelt on May 1, 2025. With a degree in business administration, Esma Saglik has been CFO at REHAU INDUSTRIES since 2020 and brings with her many years of financial experience from various management positions in industrial companies, as well as international experience.

Mathieu Boulandet (42) will assume the position of Sebastian Heiner from August 1, 2025. The graduate chemist has extensive expertise in the lubricants industry after more than 20 years of experience in international management positions at TOTAL ENERGIES and BP CASTROL. Most recently he was responsible for the global marine and energy business of CASTROL.

“With the two experienced managers Esma Saglik and Mathieu Boulandet, FUCHS is very well positioned for the future,” emphasizes Supervisory Board Chairman Loos.

Contractual duration of the Executive Board
The two new Board members have been appointed for three years each.
The contract of CEO Stefan Fuchs (57) runs until the end of June 2026. The contracts of Dr. Timo Reister (45) and Dr. Ralph Rheinboldt (57) continue until December 2028. Fuchs has been with the company for 28 years, an Executive Board member since 1999 and CEO since 2004. Reister has been with the company for 15 years, an Executive Board member since 2016 and Deputy CEO since January 2024. He is responsible for the Asia-Pacific and Americas regions, as well as the Automotive Aftermarket, OEM, and Mining divisions. Rheinboldt has been with the company for 25 years and an Executive Board member since 2009. He is responsible for the EMEA (Europe, Africa, and the Middle East) region, as well as the Industrial and Specialty divisions.
