EQS-Ad-hoc: Uniper SE / Key word(s): Miscellaneous With regard to the Russian gas supply curtailments, Uniper does not expect additional costs from the replacement procurement of gas volumes for the years 2023 and 2024. Uniper has effectively hedged its gas supply obligations in this regard for this period through, among other instruments, futures contracts. Further equity increases by the federal government will therefore no longer be necessary. Based on preliminary unaudited figures, pre-tax gains of more than 2 billion Euros are expected from the hedging transactions. The use of the profits from the replacement of gas volumes will be coordinated with the federal government in line with the EU state aid approval requirements. Uniper confirms its outlook for 2023 and continues to expect a strong earnings recovery compared with the prior year, leading to positive adjusted EBIT and adjusted net income for the Group.
