Bietigheim-Bissingen, June 04, 2024 — Today, the Board of Management of Dürr AG informed the Supervisory Board that it is reviewing strategic options for the air pollution control technology and noise abatement systems business units, part of the Clean Technology Systems (CTS) division, including a sale. These activities generated sales of around €430 million in 2023. No strategic options are being reviewed for the battery production technology business allocated to CTS.
Furthermore, the Board of Management has decided to bundle all activities of the Paint and Final Assembly Systems and Application Technology divisions and merge them into the new Automotive division in order to further strengthen competitiveness and systems expertise. The activities, which most recently generated sales of around €2 billion, will be managed under the new division from the beginning of 2025.
Dürr AG's Board of Management confirms the targets for the current fiscal year and the mid-cycle targets.
The battery production technology business currently located at CTS will become part of the Industrial Automation Systems division, which will be renamed Industrial Automation. There will be no changes to the Woodworking Machinery and Systems division, which will simply be renamed Woodworking.
