On 10 July 2025 PS MB.MS, a joint venture entity of UAB Merko Statyba and SIA Merko Būve, both fully owned subsidiaries of AS Merko Ehitus group, and SIA WPR 2, a fully owned subsidiary of SIA Zaļā Elektrība, entered into the contract to perform the construction of foundations for 16 wind turbines, electrical cables and roads in a windfarm located in the Smiltene parish in Latvia.

OÜ Merko Kodud, part of the AS Merko Ehitus group, has decided to proceed with the construction of the above-ground volumes of next phase of the Lahekalda apartment development project located on the Maarjamäe limestone clint in Tallinn. Within the framework of this development phase two apartment buildings with a total of 110 apartments will be completed in the fall of 2026.

AS Merko Ehitus (trading code MRK1T, ISIN code EE3100098328) will fix the list of shareholders for dividend payment as of the close of the business of the settlement system on 30 May 2025.

The Supervisory Board of AS Merko Ehitus decided to extend the powers of a Member of the Management Board of the company, Mr. Tõnu Toomik until 6 June 2028 (inclusive). The Management Board of AS Merko Ehitus will continue with two members: Mr. Ivo Volkov (Chairman), Mr. Tõnu Toomik and Mr. Urmas Somelar.

On 21 May 2025, AS Merko Ehitus Eesti, part of the AS Merko Ehitus group, and OÜ Rail Baltic Estonia signed a construction contract for the Rail Baltica Ülemiste international passenger terminal in Tallinn.

COMMENTARY FROM MANAGEMENT

The annual general meeting of shareholders of AS Merko Ehitus, held on 15 May 2025, adopted the resolutions on the announced agenda items as set out below.

According to a decision of the Management Board of AS Merko Ehitus from 9 May 2025, the powers of the Member of the Supervisory Board of AS Merko Ehitus Eesti, Mr. Martin Rebane, have been extended until 10 May 2028. The Supervisory Board of AS Merko Ehitus Eesti will continue with four members: Mr. Ivo Volkov (the Chairman), Mr. Tõnu Toomik, Mr. Urmas Somelar and Mr. Martin Rebane.

UAB Merko Būstas, part of AS Merko Ehitus group, has launched the fourth stage of the Vilneles Skverai residential project located on the outskirts of the Old Town of Vilnius. The new stage includes in total of six apartment buildings with 318 apartments. Merko has started the construction of the first part of the fourth stage, which includes the entire underground car park complex and the first three residential buildings above-ground. Completion is scheduled for the second half of 2026.
